The Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference held a consultation meeting on the legislation of social credit regulations at the 35th meeting of chairpersons of the 12th Provincial CPPCC held on Friday. Huang Lixin, chairwoman of the Provincial CPPCC, addressed the meeting.
The meeting is intended for the innovation of the mechanism for the drafting of the province’s social credit regulations and that will be tabled for reviewing at the annual session of the Provincial People’s Congress.
Huang Lixin said it is important to follow the Xi Jinping Thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, carry out the latest policy requirements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, sum up the experiences in the province and outside of the province to as to accelerate the drafting of social credit regulations at a level of high quality.
She urged more efforts to further improve the level of legalization in the construction of the social credit system and better serve economic and social development.
The chairwoman demanded more efforts to enhance the innovative, standard, targeted and applicable nature of legislation at the provincial level so as to effectively improve the quality of credit legislation, optimize the social credit environment, improve the social credit system and provide strong support for high-quality economic and social development in Jiangsu.
