Another ruins site of an ancient city has been unearthed under the Pengcheng Square in downtown Xuzhou. Over 20 archeologists are cleaning up the ruins at the site.
According to the manager of Xuzhou Museum, the designated institution for the excavation project, the ancient ruins will not be affected by the construction of subway in the area. They are advancing the project according the carefully designed plans.
The newly discovered ruins would further boost the character of Xuzhou City featuring profound history and rich culture with well-preserved historical remains.
