Under the authorization of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, the 6th Statistical Inspectorate Group of the National Bureau of Statistics launched a statistical inspection in Jiangsu from October 21 to November 2, 2019.

Among the five suggestions made by the inspection group to the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government are in-depth study of General Secretary Xi Jinping ’s important speech and instructions on statistical work, resolute implementation of the Party Central Committee and the State Council ’s decision-making and deployment on statistical reform and development and further efforts to prevent and punish statistical fraud and hold statistical violations accountable, the statement said.
