4月14日下午，江苏省多位疫情防控专家与纳米比亚卫生部应对新冠疫情专家组成员视频连线，向纳方介绍疫情防控、诊断救治等抗疫经验。
Medical experts from Jiangsu shared experience in fighting against the COVID-19 with their Namibian counterparts Tuesday afternoon to help the country contain the pandemic.
纳米比亚应对疫情总协调人郝希库、卫生部副执行长马萨贝，中国驻纳大使馆政务参赞杨军、江苏省政府外事办公室副主任杨菁、中国援纳医疗队全体成员参加此次疫情防控视频交流会。
Dr. Bernard Haufiku, the National Co-ordinator for COVID-19 of Namibia, Petronella Masababe, Deputy Executive Director of Namibian Ministry of Health and Social Services, Yang Jun, Political Counsellor of Chinese Embassy in Namibia, Yang Jing, Deputy Director of Jiangsu Provincial Office of Foreign Affairs, and members of the Chinese medical team in Namibia attended the video conference.
视频会议在华为南京研究所举行，华为超高清视频会议系统结合华为云WeLink智能协作云服务，为本次视频会议提供了有力技术支撑。
The video conference was held with the technical support from Huawei R&D Center in Nanjing.
江苏省疾病预防控制中心急性传染病防治所所长鲍倡俊分享疫情防控经验
据介绍，纳米比亚目前共发现16例确诊病例，其中3例已治愈，6例正准备出院，上周无新增确诊病例。在3个多小时的视频连线中，双方就疫情防控措施和当前防疫情况进行了问答交流。来自江苏省的专家们重点针对如何避免医务人员感染、对不同严重程度的病人采取何种治疗方案，以及重症病例临床诊治、用药方案等进行了经验分享。
Namibia has so far reported 16 confirmed cases, of whom 3 have been cured. In the 3-hour video conference, experts from Jiangsu provided suggestions for Namibia ranging from general strategies concerning the current situation to detailed academic solutions in both prevention and treatment.

“我们通过今天的交流对纳米比亚国内新冠疫情有了进一步的了解。”江苏省人民医院重症监护室主任曹权对记者说。“纳米比亚还处在疫情的早期。我们根据江苏的经验要早期发现、早期隔离、早期治疗、早期报告，这样才能把疫情控制在早期阶段。”
“After our communication today, we now have a better understanding of Namibia’s COVID-19 situation,” said Cao Quan, Director of ICU at Jiangsu Province Hospital. “Namibia is still at the early stage of epidemic. Based on our experience in Jiangsu, we recommended the principles of early detection, early quarantine, early treatment and early report so as to prevent the epidemic from further spread.”
曹权同时也表示，目前新冠肺炎疫情在全球蔓延，最终的防控要取得成功，是不能有一个国家或者一个地区在防控范围之外的。“如果这些地方有暴发，那么整个全球防控都不会成功的。”
Cao also said that we can’t leave any single one country or region alone in order to achieve the ultimate success in controlling the COVID-19 pandemic. “Failure in the control or even outbreak in one region would lead to the failure in the global control of COVID-19,” said him.
江苏省政府外事办公室副主任杨菁介绍江苏和纳米比亚的合作情况
江苏省政府外事办公室副主任杨菁介绍说，纳米比亚是江苏在非洲的重要合作伙伴，双方已建立包括省级友城霍马斯省在内的6对友好城市。在疫情暴发初期，霍马斯省就向江苏致信表示关心和慰问。在此次专家视频会议之外，江苏还将向霍马斯省提供医用防护口罩等力所能及的物资援助，携手抗击疫情。
Yang Jing, Deputy Director of Jiangsu Provincial Office of Foreign Affairs, said that Namibia and Jiangsu have been in collaboration in varied sectors. 6 pairs of sister cities or provinces have been established between the two sides so far.
Apart from the video conference, Jiangsu will also provide medical supplies including protective masks to Khomas, Namibia, she said.
纳方与会官员表示，目前纳米比亚正按照世界卫生组织的指导，动员政府和全社会力量，密切关注社区传播，落实相关防控措施。同时也希望加强国际合作，江苏专家分享的经验将为纳米比亚疫情防控工作提供借鉴。
Representatives from Namibia said that the country is now mustering its national and regional resources to contain community transmission with the guidance of the WHO. The experience shared by Jiangsu’s medical experts has offered practical knowledge that would prove helpful.
