The medical teams from east China’s Jiangsu province have been committed to their duty during their aid in Huangshi city, central China’s Hubei province, to help contain the novel coronavirus epidemic or COVID-19.

On the evening of April 12, two members of a patient’s family visited the place where the Jiangsu medical team lived during their pairing-up assistance in Wuhan.

They were there to send a thank-you letter to the doctors and nurses before they set foot on the journey home.

On April 3, the doctors from Jiangsu performed an esophageal stenting operation for a COVID-19 patient in Wuhan, which was the first of its kind in the city. The patient is now in stable condition.

They set a record in Wuhan No.1 Hospital by admitting more than 40 COVID-19 patients in one hour.
