On April 1, China (Wuxi) Cross-Border E-Commerce College was established and listed in Wuxi Taihu University. Chairperson of the Wuxi Municipal Committee of the CPPCC Zhou Minwei attended the event and made a speech.
Jointly establishing China (Wuxi) Cross-border E-Commerce College by Wuxi Taihu University, the Wuxi Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Test Zone and companies in the industry marked that Wuxi Taihu University had stepped new paces in deepening production and education integration, innovating applied talent training models and serving local economic and social development. The Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Commerce will make good use of policies, funds and projects to support the construction of the cross-border e-commerce college. The China (Wuxi) Cross-Border E-Commerce Construction Leading Group Office, the China Service Trade Association, the China E-commerce Chamber of Commerce Cross-Border E-Commerce Working Committee and other institutions and enterprises have signed with Wuxi Taihu University to carry out a series of substantive cooperation in aspects including cross-border e-commerce talent cultivation, textbook compilation and cross-border e-commerce entrepreneurial park construction. At the scene, the blockchain research, development and application center and 3 national first-class majors including IOT engineering, mechanical engineering and accounting of Wuxi Taihu University were unveiled together.
Zhou Minwei hoped that Wuxi Taihu University can take the establishment of the China (Wuxi) Cross-border E-Commerce College and the unveiling of the blockchain research, development and application center and the national first-class majors as opportunities, closely integrate its own high-quality resources with the cross-border e-commerce industry in Wuxi and provide intelligence and talent support for accelerating cross-border e-commerce industry development and expanding the industrial scale in Wuxi.
