Jiangsu will negotiate with the other two provinces and one municipality in the Yangtze River Delta to jointly establish a defective product recall information management platform.
The province will also establish a channel for rapid notification of defective consumer product information and a mutual review mechanism for the technical review of defective consumer product so as to provide unified and efficient information support for defective product recalls in the Yangtze River Delta region.
Since the recall of defective consumer products in 2013, Jiangsu has recalled 257 models of 3.025 million products produced by 192 companies。
The province has also urged efforts for rectification of 291 thousand products produced by 36 companies with more than 1,400 defective product information monitoring sites established.
In the past 6 years, the number of recalled defective products increased nearly 200 times.
The recall of defective products has played a positive role in ensuring the quality of people's livelihood and promoting high-quality development.
