Officials from the provincial government and the municipal government of Nanjing as well as people from all walks of life joined a memorial ceremony Monday morning at Dr Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the death of Dr. Sun Yat-sen.
Dr. Sun Yat-sen was a great national hero, a great patriot, and a great pioneer of the Chinese democratic revolution. At 9 o'clock in the morning, people from all walks of life participated in the ceremony and took photos in front of the Bo’ai Square. They then walked up the memorial hall and stood in line to bow before Sun Yat-sen’s statute. They also laid flower baskets in front of the stature in a sign of remembering Dr Sun Yat-sen's immortal contribution to the peaceful reunification of the motherland and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
