The Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference held a meeting on Wednesday to convey the spirit of the important speech made by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection tour to Wuhan city on Tuesday. Huang Lixin, chairwoman and party secretary of the CPPCC Provincial Committee, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.
Huang Lixin pointed out that the important speech made by General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out the direction and provided fundamental follow-up for the victory of the war against the epidemic.
She urged the CPPCC members to offer suggestions and contribute ideas in scientific and accurate prevention and control in accordance with the law, and promote comprehensive resumption of work and production and market so as to contribute to the province’s economic and social development.
She called for strengthening overall work, innovating ways and means of carrying out work, and doing a good job of CPPCC work under the background of epidemic prevention and control in a pragmatic manner.
Huang Lixin also called for the CPPCC members to contribute their efforts and wisdom to the poverty alleviation campaign by following the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the national symposium on poverty reduction.
