East China’s Jiangsu province will prioritize the coordination between epidemic control and socio-economic development to meet targets set for this year, according to an executive meeting of the provincial government held Thursday afternoon. The meeting was held to study the spirit of the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee held Wednesday in Beijing.

Every possible effort should be made to continue to focus on safety in production, strive to win the epidemic prevention and control, and achieve the economic and social development goals for the year, according to the statement.
