Nestlé Health Science China Product Innovation Center was established in China Medical City on November 27. The center will operate in parallel with Nestlé Health Science's product innovation centers in the United States and Switzerland, share global advanced core research and development technologies, and make localized innovations in accordance with China's national standards and consumer needs, and continuously enrich the product system of formula food for special medical purposes in China.
Nestlé Health Science is the pioneer of formula food for special medical purposes in Chinese market. Nestlé Health Science Taizhou factory was officially completed in April last year. It is the first approved production base of liquid formula food for special medical purposes. It introduced international advanced production technology and formula to greatly promote the localization progress. The Nestlé Health Science China Product Innovation Center is located in the Nestlé Health Science Taizhou factory. In June 2019, the full nutrition liquid formula product developed by the center won the first registration certificate of full nutrition formula food for special medical use.
