Let's have a look how many changes in Suzhou from 2017 to 2019.

In 2017, Suzhou was hailed as the "strongest prefecture-level city" by netizens, and Suzhou Industrial Park promoted the comprehensive experiment of opening and innovation; 

In 2019, China (Jiangsu) Pilot Free Trade Zone Suzhou Area was inaugurated, and Suzhou was shortlisted for the eighth time as "the most attractive Chinese city in the eyes of foreign talents".

In October 2017, the main arch of Tianshenggang channel bridge of Shanghai-Nantong Yangtze River Bridge was completed;

In September 2019, Shanghai-Nantong Yangtze River Bridge was completed and will be opened to traffic next year.

On April 15, 2017, Suzhou Metro Line 4 and its branch line opened for trial operation;

In 2019, Suzhou Metro Line 3 will be put into trial operation. Line 5, Line 6, Line 8 and Line S1 are all under construction, and Line 7 is expected to start construction at the end of the year.

In September 2017, the main structure of Suzhou No.2 Library was roofed;

In November 2019, Suzhou No.2 Library opened to the public for experience, and will be officially unveiled soon.

From April 1, 2017, the work permit system for foreigners to come to China was officially implemented nationwide;

According to the statistics in April 2019, Suzhou has issued more than 22,800 Foreigners Work Permits, including 6,469 foreign high-end talents, accounting for 65% of the province. The number and quality of foreign talents introduced are the first in Jiangsu.

In December 2017, Suzhou Korean School, located in Wujiang Taihu New Town, was completed;

In 2019, Suzhou has 6 international schools specialized in recruiting foreign children, 4 Sino-foreign joint venture hospitals. Suzhou One-stop Service Center for high-level talents to provide some benefits such as settlement, residence, children education, medical care, etc. In October 2019, iSuzhou On-line Service Platform for Foreigners in Suzhou was launched, providing an online channel for foreigners living in Suzhou to answer questions.
