An entrepreneurship week will be launched in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, on Nov 12, according to an announcement by officials at a news conference for the event on Nov 4.
The special week will involve an opening ceremony and 10 activities, including summits, forums, competitions, job fairs and roadshows.
More than 80 venture capital companies are expected to take part, in a bid to find new projects and entrepreneurs with fresh ideas for investment.
At the job fair for Nantong Central Innovation District, 140 local companies will provide 3,785 vacancies in various industries, including intelligent equipment, new materials, digital information, new energy, textiles, biomedicine, and transport.
The event will be hosted by the city's government and Party committee, with the aim of promoting innovative development across the district.
