Poverty alleviation role models from across the country visited Jiangsu province for a publicity tour. Ren Zhenhe, deputy secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, addressed the event.
Zhang Dongmei, head of the publicity team and member of the secretariat of the All-China Women’s Federation, briefed the participants on the important instructions on poverty alleviation made by General Secretary Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang.
Zhang Xiaorong, Yu Ruifen, Ge Chengshu, Liao Zhiyuan, Chen Zhibiao and Zhang Xiuyan, recounted on their strenuous efforts in the targeted poverty alleviation campaign at the grassroots level.
Ren Zhenhe pointed out that the important instructions made by General Secretary Xi Jinping and the instructions of Premier Li Keqiang fully reflected the confidence and determination of the CPC Central Committee on the fight against poverty.
He demanded all localities and departments should study and understand the important speeches, win high quality battle against poverty and lay a solid foundation for building a well-off society at a high level.
Zhang Dongmei asked regional governments and departments to study the important speech made by General Secretary on poverty alleviation by promoting the exemplary deeds of the role models.
