Suzhou Jiujun Electronic Technology Co is now capable of manufacturing world-class elevator controller LCDs, according to Xu Zhidong, general manager of Jiujun, on Oct 10.
Founded in 2013 in Suzhou New District, Jiujun is dedicated to developing, producing and marketing display modules, display devices, and electronic components as well as offering relevant technical services.
Shortly after its establishment, Jiujun won the rights to provide Kone Elevator Co, one of the largest elevator manufacturers in the world, with elevator controller LCDs.
Kone Elevator Co gave Jiujun a 10-year contract, which helped the startup earn nearly 10 million yuan ($1.41 million) in operating revenue in 2013 and make a name for itself in the sector.
As light, thin, small and user-friendly electronic products are increasingly popular for customers, Jiujun actively sought to develop new products in a bid to occupy more market share.
In addition to the LCDs for elevators, Jiujun also manufactures display screens for home appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, and electric cookers. It provides display screens for Panasonic, Toshiba and other home appliance suppliers.
Xu said that Jiujun will continue improving its R&D and manufacturing capabilities in order to better facilitate people's daily life.
