A celebration of the 40th anniversary of Jiangsu Returned Overseas Chinese Federation was held on Sunday.
Yang Yue, member of Standing Committee and head of United Front Department of the Provincial Committee, Qiao Wei, chairman of the Youth Committee of All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and Liu Handong, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress attended the event.
The celebration was divided into four chapters of "Returning", "Road to struggle—Singing all along", "The distance of time" and "Road of self-confidence—National unification". The gala presented the magnificent historical scroll of Jiangsu Returned Overseas Chinese Federation in the past 40 years and composed the song of praise for the struggle of overseas Chinese towards the rejuvenation in the past 70 years.
