Chinese movie The Climbers, starring Zhang Ziyi, Wu Jing, Zhang Yi and Jing Boran, has turned out to be a great hit as it ranks on the top of the box office since its debut on October 3rd across the country. The film’s crew had a meeting with movie-goers in Nanjing Sunday afternoon.
The film tells the story of China's first national mountaineering team to conquer Qomolangma, known in the West as Mount Everest.
According to Li Rengang, director of the film, the shooting crew relies on a great number of records and information to recreate this epic event.
The debut of " The Climbers" has given us quite freshness, comparing the stereotypes such as the air disaster film, earth disaster film, police and gangster film, animation film, war film, swordsman film, and romantic love affair film, it give us a fresh feeling.
