The 2019 China Suqian Green Industry Fair held the opening ceremony on September 28 near the Luoma Lake in Suqian City, attracting nearly 700 business people from across the country.
The fair saw the signing of agreements for 63 projects including 47 in industrial manufacturing and the rest in fields of modern service, culture and tourism. Those projects have a planned investment of 103.6 billion yuan.
Now in its 9th edition, the fair is the largest and most high-profile economic and trade event held in Suqian. Themed “Green, Integration and Leapfrogging Development”, the fair had four culture and tourism events as well as 12 events in economy and trade hosted before the opening.
More activities will be held following the official opening, including the joint groundbreaking ceremony of projects in both the city and counties under its administration.
