Suzhou Innovation Park in Suzhou New District of Jiangsu province introduced 228 tech companies in the first half of this year, statistics from the park showed.
Among them, 40 are in high-tech industries, and 22 are private tech companies.
In addition, in the first six months of this year, Suzhou Innovation Park attracted more than 10 innovation platforms and roughly 10 maker spaces, including the innovation center of Royal Holloway, University of London, the talent center of the Research Institute for Environmental Innovation of Tsinghua University, and the maker space Minigee.
The park has ramped up efforts to improve its management and services by constructing centers for comprehensive service, reception and the display of achievements in fintech.
To date, more than 10 companies in the district have successfully obtained financing with the help of Suzhou Innovation Park.
According to a spokesman for the park, it will attract more projects in the following half year in order to grow itself into a hub of high profile professionals, various companies and industries in Suzhou New District.
