Jiangsu’s many marine fishing fleets are leaving ports as the fishing moratorium ends on August 1, 2019. Over 3,000 ships from the province’s ports in Lianyungang, Yancheng and Nantong have sailed to the sea for fishing. Soon new aquatic products, such as horse crabs and largehead hairtails, will be available on the market.
The Yellow Sea and East China area under the administration of Jiangsu, between 35 degrees north latitude to 26.3 degrees and 30 minutes north latitude, applied the fishing moratorium from May 1 to August 1.
