A short video of Luyang Lake Wetland Park in Yangzhou City has gone viral on social media Instagram, according to a Yangzhou student now studying abroad on July 29.
The short video lasts only more than ten seconds and has hashtags including China, Yangzhou, Summer and Water Forest. In just a few days, the video has been liked or forwarded by many foreign media outlets, with nearly one million views.
Luyang Lake Wetland Park, located in Yangzhou’s Jiangdu District, borders the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in the west, Gaoyou Lake, and Shaobo Lake. It has the only nature reserve in Yangzhou and is also an ecological zone of nearly 666.7 hectares. With numerous rivers and fish ponds, the park is known for the water town flavor, many kinds of birds, and wild animals. The fresh air has won the name of natural oxygen bar for the park.
