The 15th China Nanjing International Software Products and Information Services Trade Fair was opened in Nanjing on Friday. Lou Qinjian, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, and Governor Wu Zhenglong attended the opening ceremony alongside with Chen Zhaoxiong, Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology.
China Nanjing International Software Expo has been held for 14 consecutive years, becoming one of the largest, most internationalized and most influential international software and information service industry exhibitions in China.
More than 1,000 companies from more than 20 countries and regions participated in this year's Software Expo to showcase their new technologies, new products, new formats and new models in the areas of cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, 5G, virtual reality, integration, integrated circuits and the Internet of Things through demonstrations, transactions, forums, talent recruitment and other activities.
Before the opening ceremony, Lou Qinjian, Wu Zhenglong and Chen Zhaoxiong visited the software exhibition hall.
They learned in detail about the latest achievements displayed at the exhibition, hoping that the industrial parks and enterprises would use the Software Expo as a platform to further deepen the exchanges and cooperation, seize the changes brought by the computer and the Internet in the production and lifestyle, increase the in-depth integration of informatization and industrialization, and promote cross-industry and cross-disciplinary integration and innovation, and play a greater role in building a self-controllable modern industrial system.

When addressing the opening ceremony, Chen Zhaoxiong said that software is the soul of information technology, the shield of Internet security, the engine of economic transformation, and the foundation of the digital society.
He hoped that the enterprises would grasp the historical opportunity of a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, enlarge and strengthen the software industry, strive to realize new kinetic energy by digital industrialization, foster new power through digitalized industry, and lead new development with social intelligence.
Zhang Jinghua, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and secretary of the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee, and Ma Qiulin, deputy governor, also delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. Lan Shaomin, Mayor of Nanjing, presided over the opening ceremony.
