Lou Qinjian, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Provincial Committee of Finance and Economics, presided over the second session of the Provincial Finance and Economic Committee on Tuesday to convey the spirit of the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping at the Fourth Session of the Central Committee of Finance and Economics, and heard the improvement of housing conditions for farmers in northern Jiangsu. Governor Wu Zhenglong, who is also deputy director of the Provincial Finance Committee, attended the meeting.

We must take the implementation of the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference as a major political responsibility, and more conscientiously abide by the centralized and unified leadership of the Party Central Committee, more firmly implement the decision-making arrangements of the Party Central Committee, strengthen independent exploration, and do a good job in supply-side structural reforms,support enterprises to diversify the market, accelerate the construction of an independent and controllable modern industrial system, and promote the high-quality development of the province.
It is important to make improvement in the living conditions of the farmers in northern Jiangsu by taking the people-oriented approach and shouldering the responsibility so as to promote the integration and development of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries, encourage more rural laborers to work and start businesses, build new rural communities, and let farmers live in modern urban life in synch with the times.
