Certificate of Origin of BRI countries was highly increased in Changzhou in the first half of 2019. Changzhou customs has issued 19422 copies of Certificate of Origin of BRI countries under preferential trade arrangements, up 13.02% year on year. The goods value reached $1.134 billion, up 21.55% year on year. The issue of Certificate of Origin is expected to save 662 million yuan in the tariff costs.
Certificate of Origin is called the "economic passport" of export products. In recent years, the company has actively explored the markets of countries along the Belt and Road Initiative, increased exports to Vietnam, India, Indonesia and other countries, and obtained 282 certificates in the first half of 2019, saving about 5.84 million yuan in tariff costs.
