At the square in front of Building 118 of Xinan Residential Quarter of Daoxiang Community, Helie Sub-District, Binhu District, residents were busy classifying garbage. Ten containers were neatly placed at the square, covering all kinds of garbage that residents may produce in their daily life. One after another, residents came with garbage, naturally and skillfully put the garbage into the corresponding recycling boxes.
As early as 2012, Daoxiang Community has cooperated with Wuxi Tzu Chi Environmental Protection Education Base to carry out garbage sorting activities on a regular basis, opening the initial "Environmental Protection Enlightenment Class" for residents. Nowadays, the concept of environmental protection has been gradually permeated and expanded in Daoxiang Community. More and more enthusiastic residents have consciously practiced garbage classification and taken practical actions to contribute to environmental protection.
