The Lianyungang-Kazakhstan-Turkey railway air transport started operation for the first time on Thursday morning. The container will be transported by trucks to the Almaty airport after passing through the China Railway express train to the Atenkori station in Kazakhstan, and then transported by air to Istanbul. In the past, it took 15 to 16 days for goods to travel from Lianyungang to Turkey on the China Railway express train. The railway air transport will cut the time spent on the travel to about 9 days and the cost by 30% to 50%. It has developed a new and efficient way of logistics and transportation for cross-border transportation business from Lianyungang to Central Asia and Europe.
