A series of activities to mark the 25th anniversary of the friendship between Jeollabuk-do Province of South Korea and Jiangsu Province will be held at the Nanjing Library from June 27 to July 2, free admission for visitors.
The activities will be composed of three parts - opening ceremony, exhibition and other programs.
At the opening ceremony, the Namwon City Gugak Orchestra showed traditional music through playing special Korean instruments. In the exhibition, Jeollabuk-do introduces the province’s long history, culture, and development plan as well as the exchange with Jiangsu.
On each afternoon during the exhibition, the Nanjing Library will host a tea etiquette for visitors to experience directly. Visitors can also try out traditional Korean games and learn about the country’s traditional culture from teachers on the spot. Visitors can also take away their self-made crafts as a souvenir.
