The 2nd China Nanjing Unmanned System Control and 5G Application Summit in Nanjing opened on Thursday at the Jiangsu Software Park in Jiangning district, Nanjing. This event is one of the 2019 Nanjing Innovation Week series activities.
5G phones, smart driving unmanned vehicles, 5G technology drones that automatically lock targets, and a large number of unmanned system control technologies and products based on 5G technology show us the picture of future 5G life.
Wang Jin, chief technical consultant and unmanned driving expert of China FAW, said that with the strengthening of 5G and "Beidou" positioning, China's driverless system can be upgraded from bicycle intelligence to driverless system, fully guaranteeing its Safety. We are exploring the area of large-scale testing in Nanjing that will allow China's driverless systems to adapt to China's urban conditions and road conditions earlier, he said.
At this summit, Nanjing Unicom will cooperate with Jiangsu Software Park to build the first 5G intelligent application demonstration park in the province. In addition, the summit will also set up a terminal technology application engineering research center and Jiangsu UAV industry alliance to help boost Jiangsu’s 5G industry development.
