East China’s Jiangsu province has spared no efforts to promote the national campaign to stress Party’s founding mission among Party members by calling for the leading officials to learn from Zhou Enlai spirit, and the exemplary roles of Zhao Yafu and Wang Jicai.
The exemplary role of Wang Jicai has inspired the Party members to bear in mind the founding mission.
The party members of the Provincial Party Committee launched a Party Day event on Kaishan Island where Wang Jicai was posted as a sentry guard before his death in 2017. Under the witness of the bright red flag and flag of Kaishan Island, all party members raised their right hand and revisited the oath of joining the party.
The Party members were called on to carry forward the spirit of devotion and dedication in the new era by learning from the exemplary deeds of Wang Jicai and being willing to contribute to the country's prosperity, national rejuvenation, and people’s happiness so as to fulfill the communist people's initial mission.
Wang Jicai, former head of the militia post on Kaishan Island in east China's Jiangsu Province, died of sudden illness when on duty on July 27, 2018 after spending 32 years guarding an island post, assisted by his wife Wang Shihua.
The officials and Party members of the provincial Procuratorate were organized to watch films that reflects the background of the formation and development of Xi Jinping's Socialism Thought with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era and Wang Jicai’s fulfillment to the communist people's initial mission
Theme events were also launched by the Provincial Railway Corporation at a village in Zhangjiagang city. More than 100 Party members were organized to learn from the exemplary roles of Zhao Yafu, an agronomist in Zhenjiang, and Qin Zhenghua, former CPC chief of Zhangjiagang. They have borne in mind the Party’s founding mission by making contribution to the improvement of people’s livelihood.
