今年是江苏省同维多利亚州（以下简称“维州”）缔结友好省州关系40周年纪念。上周，维多利亚州州督Linda Dessau（琳达·德绍）一行来到江苏，对江苏进行访问。

短短几天里，琳达 德绍聚焦江苏与维州在教育、医疗、科技等方面的合作，参观了东南大学—蒙纳士大学苏州联合研究生院、江苏省人民医院、省科技厅、琅琊路小学、南京博物院等地。
6月4日下午，琳达 德绍接受了《Hello Jiangsu》的独家专访。本期《环球视野看江苏Top Talk》，我们就同琳达 德绍谈谈她眼中江苏和维州的40年。
“一带一路”助力江苏与维州合作
“2016年的时候，我来过一次南京，那一次我们在南京城墙上面散步。”德绍告诉记者，南京的古朴和现代给她留下了非常深刻的印象。“这一次我还想在城墙上走走，因为我觉得从城墙上，你可以感受到这个城市深厚的文化积淀。”
"I was here in 2016, we walked last time on the Nanjing city wall," said Linda Dessau. She told Hello Jiangsuthat the extraordinarily rich cultural history and modernity of Nanjing made her very impressed. "If I have any time to myself this time, I'm hoping to do that againbecause that rich cultural heritage is so obvious from that vantage point," said she.
除了深厚的文化底蕴，近几年来，南京也在努力建设“创新名城”。“这一次访问，我也花了大量时间来讨论未来如何进行创新。”琳达 德绍说，她对江苏省以及不同城市发展中所采取的一些创新性做法记忆犹新。
In addition to the profound culture, Nanjing has also made efforts to build a "famous innovative city"in recent years. "I'm spending a great deal of time talking about innovation in the future." Linda Dessausaid she wasimpressed with the clever and innovative ways in which the city is developing and in which this province is going into the future.
琳达·德绍一行参观南京博物院
2018年10月，维州政府与中国国家发改委签署共同推进“一带一路”建设谅解备忘录。维州成为澳大利亚第一个正式加入“一带一路”倡议的州政府。在采访中，琳达 德绍表示，维州和江苏可以借助“一带一路”倡议，促进两地间在未来的合作。
In October 2018, Victorian government and China's National Development and Reform Commission signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the Belt and Road Initiative. Victoria became the first state government in Australia to formally join the "Belt and Road" Initiative.In the interview, Dessau said Victoria and Jiangsu could boost cooperation in the future with the BRI.
琳达·德绍告诉记者：“我知道江苏是‘一带一路’的交汇点。所以我们所关注的科技、创新、医疗保健、技术、教育、农业以及基础设施方面的合作，都是同‘一带一路’紧密相关的。”
She said: “We know that Jiangsu lies very much at the heart and the center of ‘Belt and Road’. So we're looking at the scientific and innovative collaborations between us. We're looking at health care, technology, ongoing education collaborations, agricultural collaborations, whole range of infrastructure projects, all of which tie back into ‘Belt and Road’.”
加强医疗卫生领域合作以应对共同挑战
6月4日早上，琳达 德绍来到了江苏省人民医院，同赴维州研修的医生进行交流。琳达·德绍告诉记者：“随着人口不断增长、专业逐渐细化，医疗系统如何应对需求增长也是一大挑战。”此次在江苏省人民医院，琳达 德绍重点交流了在癌症护理、医院管理以及医务人员培训方面的合作。
Linda Dessauvisitedthe People's Hospital of Jiangsu ProvinceTuesday morning to communicatewith doctors who had gone to Victoriafor further study. She told us: "Because with growing populations and with more specialties involved, it really is quite a challenge for a medical system to keep up with the demands." At the People's Hospital of Jiangsu Province, Linda Dessaufocused on cooperation in cancer care, hospital management and training of ancillary medical workers.

江苏与维州建立友好省州关系以来，双方医疗卫生领域交流与合作十分频繁，成效显著。截至2016年9月，江苏先后有600多名专业人员赴澳研修，涉及医疗、护理、公共卫生和医学研究等领域，维州350多名医务及卫生管理人员到访江苏。全省先后有13家医院与维州医院结为友好医院。
Since the establishment of the sister state relationship between Jiangsu and Victoria, the exchange and cooperation in the field of medical and health care have achieved remarkable results. By September 2016, Jiangsu had more than 600 medical workers going to Victoria for further study, covering the field of medicine, nursing, public health and medical research. More than 350 medical and health management personnel from Victoria have visited Jiangsu. 13 pairs of sister hospitals have been forged between Jiangsu and Victoria.
体育是两省州之间友好合作的纽带
维多利亚州近几年积极发展体育科技并承办众多精彩的国际体育赛事。2014年，李娜在澳大利亚墨尔本赢得了澳网公开赛冠军。琳达·德绍认为，李娜在墨尔本获得冠军极大地增进了两地人民对互相的认知和了解。
Victoria has been active in developing sports technology and has hosted many wonderful international sport events in recent years. In 2014, Li Na, a worldly-renowned tennis player, won the Australian Open tennis Grand Slam 2014 in Melbourne, Australia. Linda Dessaubelieves that Li Na's victory in Melbourne has greatly enhanced the mutual knowledge and understanding of the two peoples.
“李娜深受维多利亚人的喜爱，她既是一位伟大的网球明星，也是代表中国的‘大使’。” 琳达·德绍告诉记者，李娜在澳大利亚的知名度很高。“2019年我们邀请李娜为澳网公开赛颁奖，当她走入球场的时候，现场的观众都沸腾了。”
“She is much loved in Victoria and a great tennis star and a great ambassador for china.” Dessau said that Li Na has got quite some fame in Australia. “Li Na was invited to the Australian open grand slam this year in 2019 to present one of the trophies. When she walked out onto the court, the public affection in Victoria was very obvious. The crowd was so excited to see her there,” said she.
5月31日，江苏——维州篮球友谊公开赛在南京举办。
琳达·德绍认为，体育是联系两省州的一条很好的纽带。“体育不仅仅可以将人与人联系在一起，也拥有巨大的商业价值。”琳达·德绍对两地间的体育合作也充满期待。“我很自豪地告诉你，我们在体育技术方面非常先进。澳大利亚65%的体育技术公司都位于维多利亚。”
Dessau believes that sport is one of the areas for collaboration. “Not only is it a wonderful way of people relating to each other, but it has a very profound business and commercial impact as well.” She has many expectations to the collaboration in sports between Jiangsu and Victoria. “I'm also proud that we're very advanced in sports technology and something like 65 percent of the sports technology companies in Australia is situated in Victoria.”
江苏的游客和学生是最好的“大使”
在采访过程中，琳达·德绍提到最多的就是两地间的人员交流。“我们两省州40年的友好关系很大程度上就是建立在人与人互相交往的基础上。”德绍告诉记者，两省州一开始都是以制造业为基础，进而不断发展，不断转型升级。“两地间的交流很重要的一点便是两地青年通过访学进行交流，这也就意味着我们彼此不断了解，了解对方的文化、对方的语言。”
In the interview, Linda Dessau has mentioned the exchange of personnel between the two sides for many times. "It's been a four decade long relationship that is built very much on the people to people connections," said she. Dessau told us that Victoria and Jiangsu both had an economy based on manufacturing when they started, and had continued to evolve and upgrade. "And one of the main things that we've done together is that we've had so many youngsters being exchanged for education. And that means they've come to know each other, know each other's culture, know each other's language," said Linda Dessau.
琳达·德绍说她每年都会在州督府举办招待会，邀请来在江苏的留学生同维州的学生进行交流。她认为在这种交流下，江苏的青年学生会把江苏介绍给更多的维州学生，更多的维州学生会在未来来到江苏。“来自江苏的游客和学生就是你们最好的‘大使’。”德绍告诉记者。
Linda Dessau said she hosted a reception at the Government House every year to invite students from Jiangsu to interact with students from Victoria. She believes that Jiangsu's young students will introduce Jiangsu to more Victorian students and more Victoria students will come to Jiangsu in the future. "Your tourists and your children are the best ambassadors," said she.
