Jiangsu Dragon welcomed South East Melbourne Phoenix on home court at Nanjing’s Wutaishan Stadium last night. Officials from Jiangsu and Victoria watched the game that is part of the 40th anniversary celebration of the sister state relationship between the two sides.
In the first half of the game, S.E. Melbourne Phoenix led the score of 50-37 with Jiangsu Dragon almost even the score in the first quarter.
The second half sees more fierce competition with S.E. Melbourne Phoenix won the game in the end 92-73, beating Jiangsu Dragon.
With Victoria joining the Belt and Road Initiative, Jiangsu and Victoria have launched comprehensive cultural exchanges. This match brings a new opportunity for both sides to strengthen communication.
