Sissi, a female elephant about to turn 13 in Wuxi zoo, has reached the age of marriage among elephants. In recent years, the zoo has issued many "marriage proposals" to look for a husband for Sissi. Finally, an adult Asian male elephant from Laos has trekked to Wuxi to become Sissi's international "husband". Along with him came an adult female Asian elephant, which will live in Wuxi Zoo from now on.
