It was reported on May 8 from the Nanjing Municipal Planning and Resource Bureau, that an astronomical science education base-- Nanjing Planetarium will be built in the East District of Nanjing Software Valley. On the south side of the Nanjing Science and Technology Museum, the planetarium will be located in the northern part of Yuhuatai District, which covers an area of about 2.26 square kilometers from the airport expressway in the west, Yuhua South Road to the north, Kazimen Street in the east and Software Avenue in the south.
The plan is currently under public consultation.
