The city of Wuxi kicked off its annual edition of the high-level talents innovation and entrepreneurship fair on May 6th. This year, at the newly established "talent leads high-quality development" exhibition in the "talent fair", more than 300 cutting-edge scientific and technological innovation achievements attract and gather talents to develop new momentum for Wuxi.
As the largest, longest, most popular and most complete thematic event of the talent fair, the exhibition provides a platform for exchanges and cooperation among talents, projects, capital and industries. High-tech products in the fields of IoT applications, industrial robots, high-end chips, and intelligent manufacturing will be put up for show on the stage. The infrared angiography instrument, brought by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, can help medical workers quickly find blood vessels based on the strong absorption of near-infrared light by hemoglobin in the blood.
“This instrument can cast blood vessels clearly on our skin surface at its original scale. Then the nurse can see clear vascular projection, so it can improve the success rate of the first-time puncture and the precision of vein evaluation. At the same time, patients could reduce pain for repeatedly puncturing,” said Hui FangFang from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
In the exhibition area of college students, colleges and universities from inside and outside the province also brought a lot of new research and new technology. They hope to get more entrepreneurial support through the talent fair.
The starch developed by Li Yang, a sophomore in the Food Science and Technology College of Jiangnan University , will not cause a steep rise or fall of blood sugar after being treated with a kind of enzyme, which can improve the treatment for diabetes patients. She also hopes that the talent fair will attract some funds to support college students for their entrepreneurship.
Wuxi high-level talents innovation and entrepreneurship fair is the largest, highest-level and most influential talent event in Wuxi. Since 2017, it has been held for two sessions in succession, resulting in the signing of 247 on-site projects, the follow-up settlement of 409 projects, the introduction of 27 innovation platforms, the gathering of 101 high-end talents.
