In order to promote technology transfer and industrial transformation, the first Jiangsu-TOP (Technology, Opening, Partnership) innovation competition was officially launched on May 6.
To meet enterprise's specific technological need, the competition aims to seek solutions from the whole society. Organized by Jiangsu Proprietary Technology Exchange Center (JTEC), its offices in Nanjing, Xuzhou, Suzhou, Nantong, Jiangyin and Jiangbei as well as the Wuxi IoT Industry Center, the event will focus on fields of electronic information, biology and new medicine, new materials, advanced manufacturing and automation.

JTEC also launched its new online platform that centers on "Internet + technology transfer" to strengthen technical and economic services and accelerate the transfer of S&T progress through e-commerce model. The online platform pays more attention to the role as a fourth-party, an upgrade to the previous version.
In the first quarter of 2019, Jiangsu’s business transaction in technology transfer doubled year-on-year. Last year, the province introduced new subsidy and implementation measures for technology transfer, and the province’s 13 cities with subordinate districts also allocated their own funds to facilitate the endeavor.
