The “Healing with Love” Charity Medical Mission, a long-term charity campaign under the cooperation of JSPH and US-based Children of China Pediatrics Foundation (CCPF), is held every April. Initiated in 2015, the charity mission has offered free clinics to 171 child patients and conducted 126 surgeries, according to Tang Jinhai, director of JSPH.
Dr. David Roye (2nd from left), a leading orthopedic surgeon expert in US, has been in the charity mission for the 5th year.
Shortly after a simple launching ceremony, the cross-nation medical team started to make further examinations on the children. In the following week, 50 medical experts from US and China are to perform surgeries on 39 children who meet the indications of operations.
