This year, the Ministry of Transport will improve the "Ten Vertical and Ten Horizontal" comprehensive transportation channels, promote the construction of national logistics hubs, promote the construction of about 20 integrated passenger transportation hubs and about 30 freight hubs, and improve the collection and distribution system of the port stations.
Efforts will be made to promote the abolition of the national highway toll gates and promote the installation and use of ETC so as to make expressways toll-free.
Recently, the Ministry of Transport and the Development and Reform Commission will jointly launch the first batch of national logistics hub layout construction in a bit to promote the implementation of the port collection and distribution project, improve the access and exit railways and highway coverage of important port areas, and improve the convenience of integrated transshipment and the rapid change of goods. In 2019, through comprehensive measures, China is expected to cut the logistics cost by 120.9 billion yuan.
