Greater efforts should be made to focus on key areas and weak links, step up efforts, released targeted policies, and make coordinated advancement so as to further complement the weaknesses, rely on the current steady growth and benefit the people's livelihood, focus on the long-term foundation and increase the stamina, and provide a strong support for accelerating the construction of a new Jiangsu, the statement said.
Jiangsu will strive for greater progress in poverty alleviation, transportation, water conservancy, energy, agricultural and rural revitalization, urban construction, ecological and environmental protection, social progress and people's livelihood, improve infrastructure and public services and the quality of infrastructure supply by focusing on the national strategies of Belt and Road construction, the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region, according to the statement.
More efforts will be made to ensure progress in preventing and defusing financial risks、targeted poverty alleviation and pollution control and other important tasks assigned by the CPC Central Committee, the State Council, the Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government so as to continuously enhance the sense of happiness for the people, the statement said.
It is necessary to properly handle the relationship between stable investment and risk prevention, give full play to the decisive role of market allocation of resources and better play the role of the government, innovate investment and financing mechanisms and further optimize the supply structure through effective investment, according to the statement.
All relevant departments at all levels should speed up the preliminary work, strengthen the guarantee factors and overall coordination, and promote the construction of high-quality projects to maintain stable and healthy economic development with practical results, the statement said.
