The Jianye District in Nanjing City announced the establishment of an international innovation advisory system on February 12.
At the meeting to promote scientific and technological innovation and attract investment, three experts including Lisa Kronreif, Austrian Vice Consul for Commercial Affairs in Shanghai were hired to become the district’s first innovation advisors.
The district has vowed to vigorously implement plans to double the number of research institutes and assist the development of hi-tech start-up companies. It aims to create a first-class enterprise and talent service ecosystem in order to boost innovation and entrepreneurship.
Shen Jianrong, secretary of the CPC Jianye District Committee, said that the district has established an international innovation advisory system and invited specialists to help promote innovation and trade. It will jointly build a platform to better align with international innovation resources and accelerate the district’s development into a global innovative center.
