A new city complex including a commercial area started construction today in Hushuguan Old Town in Suzhou New District. In cooperation with Shanghai’s Lujiazui Real Estate, the complex will contain areas for housing, education, commerce and business and a public park to promote consumption upgrading in the district. The commercial area will cover a land area of 63,000 square meters with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan (US$219 million).
