The State Forestry and Grassland Administration of China agreed in a letter Wednesday that Nantong Municipal Government would jointly host the 2019 China Forest Tourism Festival with Jiangsu Forestry Administration.
China Forest Tourism Festival, approved by the party central committee and the state council, is one of the important activities sponsored by the State Forestry and Grassland Administration. Having a long-time span, this activity is a cross-sectoral, cross-industry, cross-regional systems project. Nantong is a renowned tourist city in china which has successfully held 15 consecutive Jianghai International Tourism Festivals and has become a well-known tourism festival brand in Jiangsu and even the Yangtze River Delta region. Nantong, with many achievements in organizing events and activities, is qualified to be the organizer of this event.
