The “Zen State” Cross-Strait Art Invitational Exhibition was opened at the Kunshan Art Palace on Dec. 28. It is co-sponsored by the Administrative Committee of Kunshan Economic and Technological Development Zone and the Kunshan Art Palace Cultural Development Co., Ltd. The exhibition features more than 150 works by artists from both sides of the Taiwan Strait. The album Zen State Collected Works by Cross-Strait (Kunshan) Artists was launched on the same day.
“The exhibits include traditional calligraphic works, Chinese paintings, sculptures and oil paintings. They have been selected by our academic committee,” said Zhang Kexin, director of Kunshan Art Palace, adding that Kunshan Art Palace remains true to its original aspiration and strives to create a platform for the elegant arts and mass culture.
