The Winter Arts and Crafts Expo of the 14th ICIF was wrapped up in Shenzhen, China on Dec. 11. The arts and crafts masters from Suzhou’s Xiangcheng District won 10 prizes this year.
The Expo displayed over 10,000 pieces of arts and crafts works covering 270 varieties of 32 types in 10 categories including sculpture, ceramic, embroidery, jewelry, tapestry, metal craft, hardwood furniture, lacquer art, cutting and painting. The event attracted nearly 2,800 arts and crafts professionals and 486 cultural and creative enterprises from 16 countries and regions.
A total of 120 works by arts and crafts masters from Xiangcheng District, Suzhou were on display in the expo. And inheritors of intangible cultural heritages Xu Xin and Xu Hongjun won the gold prizes of the Feihua Award of the Winter Arts & Crafts Expo of the 14th ICIF. And 6 inheritors including Li Caifang, Yuan Xueqin, Xu Hailin and Cao Chao won the silver prizes and other 2 inheritors won the bronze prizes.
