Premier Li Keqiang paid an inspection tour to Nanjing Thursday and was updated on the implementation of “the Program of Gathering Talents in Nanjing”. This year, from January to October, the whole city has increased 307,400 people enjoying the employment insurance, whose educational degrees are above college. That number includes 250,000 people with nonlocal Hukou. While Li Keqiang was visiting Nanjing Deshuo Industry Corporation Ltd., anywhere he went, he would ask the staff where they came from. In a R&D area with almost 100 people there, Premier Li did a random survey: asking the nonlocal university students to raise their hands. Seeing that two thirds of the staff did so, Premier praised that Nanjing was an open and vigorous city.
