A Printmaking Exhibition was launched at the Provincial Art MuseumThursday morning. Wang Yanwen, member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and director of the Publicity Department, and Zhu Xiaojin, vice chairman of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference, attended the opening ceremony and toured the exhibition. The exhibition was jointly sponsored by the Chinese Artists Association, the Publicity Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles. The 99 fine works exhibited were strictly selected from more than 1,000 works submitted by the National Call for Exhibits, including the collections of 9 provincial art museums and 10 collections of the Provincial Museum of Modern Art, reflecting the keen observation and rich emotions of the current printmakers. The exhibition will last until the 30th of this month.
