Slightly past 7:00am in the morning of October 20, candidates have arrived at Fangshan Campus of Nanjing Xiaozhuang University to prepare for the second stage of the 2018 National Judicial Examination. According to the statistics of Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Justice, the pass rate of the first-stage examination in Nanjing was 45%, and the number of participants in the second-stage examination was 3584.
Many examinees said that compared with previous years, this year's examination includes two stages, with an interval of one month between each stage giving them more time to get prepared. Moreover, with another chance to pass the exam next year, the examinees feel more relaxed.
A total of 11,955 people signed up for the second stage, ranking third in the country. This examination lasted four hours, focusing on the test of the examinees’ ability. There were 13 examination areas, 15 examination sites and 368 examination rooms in the province. The 2204 candidates enrolled in the Suzhou test area did the examination on computer for the first time to answer the subjective test questions. The questions and answers would no longer be published and made public.
In addition, the Department of Justice of Jiangsu Province issued Integrity Reference Letter to more than 30,000 candidates in Jiangsu Province in the form of text messages. In the previous objective examination, there was not a single case of fraud or cheating in the province.
