Zhangjiagang city signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Telecom Suzhou Branch on Oct 14 to seek cooperation in smart city and 5G service development.
According to the agreement, China Telecom Suzhou Branch will further enhance technology investment in Zhangjiagang and help promote systematic innovation, data sharing, sustainable development and green city building.
With the help of China Telecom Suzhou Branch, Zhangjiagang can make better use of its resources to promote smart city construction, said Huang Ji, the county mayor of Zhangjiagang.
Huang hopes that based on this strategic cooperation, both sides will give full play to advantages to further boost local internet information development and help to construct smart city.
The public and private sectors should work together to develop Zhangjiagang into a smart city, and at the same time help transform the city into an inno-tech hub in Jiangsu province.
