The finals of 6th Young College Student Entrepreneurship Competition and the "Internet +" Technology Entrepreneurship Competition was kicked off at Nanjing University on Thursday.
30 projects have entered the final since the competition was officially launched in March this year.
Hand-held in-vehicle hot aerosol fire extinguishers and cartoon image development projects were unveiled.
The entrepreneurial project of artificial intelligence video screen solutions has attracted the interest of many entrepreneurial tutors and investors. This project is aimed at the increasingly strong video and image compression needs of the Internet industry so as to provide a better solution.
The competition has a strong appeal with the number of applicants increasing by 12.6% compared with the previous sessions.
For the first time in its history, the competition saw students from universities in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
In addition, the competition was more technological-savvy as more than half of the projects involve the "Internet +" technology industry.
