The 2018 National Vocational Education Teaching Achievement Award List was officially announced recently. Three projects led by Jiangsu Agri-animal Husbandry Vocational College stood out from 1054 candidates and won 3 second prizes. It was ranked seventh in the country in terms of the number of projects that were awarded.
The winning projects are:
“Farming, Husbandry and Tourism” project that is aimed to nurture well-rounded talents in farming, animal husbandry and tourism led by Jiangsu Agri-animal Husbandry Vocational College, Jiangsu Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Park, and Taizhou Pastoral Tourism Development Co, Ltd.
The construction and practice of the “Trinity” training model to nurture agricultural and animal husbandry talents completed by Jiangsu Agri-animal Husbandry Vocational College.
The “innovation and entrepreneurship practice teaching system” led by Jiangsu Agri-animal Husbandry Vocational College, Jiangsu Yurun Co., Ltd., and Jinling Institute of Technology.
The 2018 national teaching achievement award is divided into three categories: basic education, vocational education and higher education. It is one of the most important indicators of the evaluation standards by the Ministry of Education. The first and second prize projects are approved by the Ministry of Education, and the special prize projects are approved by the State Council.
A total of 1,054 candidates competed for the National Teaching Achievement Award this year with 452 awards were finally proposed, including 2 special awards, 50 first prizes and 400 second prizes. The projects will be awarded 500,000, 100,000, and 20,000 RMB respectively.
