JSBC Among Top 100 of China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands with Brand Value over 43.8 Bln RMB

  The World Brand Lab released the ranking list of 2018 China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands on Wednesday. This is the 15th time for the World Brand Lab to assess the value of Chinese brands. 

    With the brand value of 43.845 billion RMB, Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation (JSBC) was ranked 93rd on the list, which is one place up compared to the rankings last year. This is the 15th time for JSBC to be listed in the country’s 500 Most Valuable Brands, and the third consecutive year to be listed among the top 100.

  JSBC ranked 3rd among all the provincial media brands; brand value over 43.8 bln RMB

  Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation was ranked 6th among all the 36 media brands in the list of 2018 China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands. It was ranked 3rd among all the provincial media brands, which is the same as the rankings of last year. It was ranked 5th among all the Jiangsu brands. The top four companies on the list are Suning Holdings, Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group, Hongdou Group and Yanghe Joint Stock Ltd.

  It is worth mentioning that the brand value of Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation now is 43.845 billion yuan, which increased 7.309 billion yuan from 2017.

  The brand value of Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation is continually increasing in recent years, which does not only lead the Chinese media brands list, but also has outstanding performance in Asia and even world brand list. It was ranked 126th on the list of Asia’s 500 Most Valuable Brands released by the World Brand Lab in October, 2017, and 6th among the top 10 TV brands in Asia. Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation was ranked 152nd on the list of World Top 500 Media Companies released by the World Media Lab in December, 2017, being one of the top three provincial broadcasting groups.

  41 Chinese brands’ value exceed 100 bln yuan

  Apart from the media industry, other Chinese brands on the list also had thrusting performances.

  Altogether 41 Chinese brands’ value exceeded 100 billion yuan on the list of 2018 China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands, which is one brand more than 2017. Among them, 6 brands exceeded 300 billion yuan, while 9 brands’ value were between 200 billion and 300 billion yuan, and 26 brands’ value were between 100 billion and 200 billion yuan.

  The World Brand Lab is an international and professional brand research institution. The chairman is the winner of 1999 Nobel Prize in Economics, Robert Mundell. The research findings have become crucial evidences for many enterprises to assess intangible assets during the annexation process.
